Devlog - Week 15
Week 15
The final stages of the game is in motion this week. Final implementations, changes, and fixes are put in the game for the final build.
Working as a team of two, we relied on teamwork and communicated our problems and suggestions for the game, this made it easy for us to work together and make decisions for the game. We worked on the game for 15 weeks and learned a lot along the way, starting from the planning, prototyping, alpha, beta, and finally the final stages of the game.
Producing a game together was tough, as decisions, time, and effort was involved to create the most polished game we have done this year. We held playtests and got helpful feedback to improve the game, as well as doing things such as a game design macro chart to help us design and plan out the game. Nonetheless, it was a fun and helpful learning experience for us, and we are happy with what we have accomplished.
Something that we would do differently in the future is to waste less time on each stage, and maybe play around with different input systems, like how we used a joystick in our first prototype.
