Devlog - Week 2
Week 2
Our prototype is based on the theme 'corrupted vision'. We took a whole different direction from our initial idea. We played around with new mechanics and ideas based on our controls from last week, to create something that we may have not thought about in our initial ideas.
We got valuable play tests and feedback from people who found our prototype enjoyable. We may be able to implement some of these mechanics from these prototypes into our initial game idea.
Jessie: I made a frog-themed infinite racing game, as my original prototype from week one felt quite ic-y and simple, and could easily be misinterpreted as the controls for a racing game. I got a lot of good feedback and a lot of people seemed to like the idea of having a similar concept in the final game.
For next week's prototypes, we will focus on the time mechanics. We will explore time changes, time speed and monitoring time in our game.
